Méribel

Located in the heart of the world famous Trois Vallées, Méribel offers not just excellent skiing, but also an abundance of bars, restaurants and shops. It has developed from a simple mountain village into a world class resort without losing any of its original charm.

The Three Valleys contain over 600km of ski runs ranging from easy nursery slopes for beginners to testing red and black runs for advanced skiers. There are fantastic off piste opportunities including the renowned couloirs off the Saulire. Snowboarders and cross country skiers haven’t been forgotten, with dedicated snowparks and 33km of trails.

The nearby resorts of Val Thorens and Courchevel can be easily accessed via high speed lifts that run from the centre of Méribel. At the top of the lifts, there is a choice of blue or red (easy or advanced) runs leading to these resorts. With some careful planning, you need never take the same run twice – apart from the final blue run that leads directly to the chalet.
Méribel’s north-south orientation within the valley ensures maximum exposure to the sun which means not only a pleasant days skiing, but also a chance to top up your tan when taking lunch at one of the many mountain restaurants in the Three Valleys.

Non skiers needn’t feel left out, as a pedestrian lift pass allows you to explore the neighbouring valleys and meet friends. Alternatively, you can use the many sporting facilities that Méribel has to offer such as dog sledding, climbing wall, swimming pool, squash court, bowling alley and an ice rink. More relaxing options include health clubs, shops and boutiques.

Méribel also boasts a range of après ski facilities with a selection of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.
